We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance strategy and drive the reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance of critical operational assets.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a maintenance professional who can combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, operational leadership, and asset reliability to support business continuity and high-performance logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall maintenance strategy and standards.
• Lead and provide strategic direction to Maintenance Managers overseeing generators and container-handling equipment.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Lead reviews of major failures, RCA, corrective actions, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Oversee major overhauls, refurbishment/replacement programs, and CAPEX planning.
• Manage maintenance resources, budgets, contractors, vendors, and performance KPIs.
• Ensure strong HSE, CMMS, asset lifecycle, and maintenance governance practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of maintenance experience, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, ports, terminals, or other asset-intensive industries.
• Strong technical experience with generators, gensets, reefer container gensets, and power-generation equipment.
• Proven experience with container handlers and heavy/material-handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, preventive & predictive maintenance, RCA, and asset lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance managers, supervisors, technicians, and workshop teams.
• Strong background in budgeting, cost control, CAPEX, CMMS, contractor/vendor management, and HSE.
• Maintenance, reliability, or asset-management certification is an advantage.
